I'll tell you something that many professional perfumers don't dare admit: for a long time, I had a complicated relationship with florals. Too safe, too predictable, too associated with clichés I wanted to avoid. I was wrong.

What changed my view was discovering the complexity hiding beneath what appears to be the most obvious of fragrance families. A well-constructed floral is not just "it smells like flowers". It's a study of proportion, of contrast, of the balance between natural rawness and crafted elegance.

This selection contains only florals I personally find fascinating — the ones where the flower is a pretext, not a conclusion.
